VOLT Festival 2022 has revealed the first headliners
After a two-year hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Telekom VOLT Festival 2022 returns with a strong line-up. Muse, Bring Me The Horizon, Sum 41, and Yungblud are just the first big names announced who will perform in the western Hungarian town of Sopron between 21 and 25 June 2022.
VOLT Festival is a multi-genre festival in Sopron in Western Hungary and one of the largest music festivals in Hungary. As one of Sziget’s sibling festivals, VOLT has an annual line-up consisting of a wide variety of electronic, rock, pop, rap, jazz, and other genres.
Norbert Lobenwein, one of the founders and main organisers of the festival, emphasised in his announcement that their goal is to prepare a special celebration of live music in Sopron and set the bar high with a program worthy of the return after the two-year break.
“VOLT Festival has been characterised by a particularly strong line-up featuring the biggest domestic and international stars from the very beginning. In comparison, this year’s program raises Telekom VOLT Festival 2022 to an even higher level and would stand the test of international comparison,”
added Norbert Lobenwein. Besides the concerts, VOLT Festival awaits visitors with various other programs, such as visual art exhibitions, film screenings, sporting and family-friendly events every year.
